Best Eco Interiors Brands

We all know we need to be a little more eco friendly, so we’ve sourced our favourite eco interiors brands so you can be more green and enjoy your interiors guilt free.

Weaver Green

Plastic bottles are the scourge of the environment and even if you’re recycling yours, or not even using them, you can’t guarantee everyone is playing ball. Which is why we love Weaver Green, because they take said evil plastic bottles and turn them into gorgeous homewares.

The collection includes beautiful rugs, blanket and cushions all made from plastic bottles. Available in a range of colours and patterns, Weaver Green even tells you how many bottles go into making each product; for a cushion, it’s an average of 50 bottles and for a blanket, a whopping 300 are used. They’re also suitable for indoor and outdoor use and are said to be as soft as wool.

Reve en Vert

Literally translated, Reve en Vert means dream in green so it’s no surprise that this online boutique stocks carefully sourced beautiful eco-friendly and sustainably made products. There’s something for every room in the home from mugs for your morning cuppa to 100% natural, chemical-free candles to scent the home.

Being rather keen on our four-legged friends, we couldn’t resist sharing this Beaumont Organic Hand Woven Dog Basket. It’s made from 100% elephant grass hand dyed using plant dyes and is crafted by a co-operative in Ghana that supports families in need.

Tincture

We’re not usually excited by cleaning products (who is?!) but then we discovered Tincture. The antithesis of harsh, chemical cleaning products, the range from Tincture is completely natural and contains no synthetic products but instead uses natural essential oils such as Bergamot and Black Pepper which are known for their antibacterial properties and Pine, which is naturally deodorising.

There’s everything you need to clean the home from bathroom cleaner and furniture “polish” to stuff for your floors and kitchen. Adding to the already great eco credentials, Tincture also stock refills so you don’t need to dump the bottles once they’re empty.

One Eight Nine Five

If you love to cosy up but want to know where your throws and cushions come from and how they’re made, One Eight Nine Five is the place for you. This innovative brand uses fabric scraps from garment factories and turns them into super cosy accessories for the home by breaking the fabric down into fibres and re-spinning the yarn. This is then woven and brushed at British mills using traditional textile techniques. We love this Camo Throw which is perfect for adding a touch of colour and pattern to sofas, chairs and beds.

Wearth London

We were super excited to come across Wearth London which is a treasure trove of reclaimed, eco-friendly and sustainable products for all across the home. From bamboo bed linen and organic cotton sheets for the bedroom to storage and furniture made from either reclaimed or FSC approved timber, there is quite literally something for every room in the home. We love the range of pegboards (all made from FSC accredited wood and painted in eco-friendly paints) which are perfect for a multitude of uses from the kitchen to kids’ rooms.
